Nor’easter Quinn bought us this unexpected beautiful snow scene in March. I had the opportunity to capture a gorgeous snow theme outdoor maternity session with Madhu and Sudipta.

Madhu’s red maternity dress really stands out in the white snow
“We like maternity shoots with images of couple being very close, so we can feel the connection and emotion. We like them as natural as possible.”, said the couple.
Session was taken at Edward A. Grekoski Park, South River
In late April we conducted baby girl Aryahi’s newborn session when she turned exactly one month old. We decided on a lifestyle approach.
Madhu and Sudipta chose Aryahi’s name from the internet. The new parents also considered other names such as Aishani, Sattviki, Tanvi, Stuti, and Toshani.
I like to make connections between the maternity and newborn sessions. So I brainstormed two themes. One is a 2D floor art design to form the word “LOVE” by using Madhu’s maternity dress and accessories.
Another theme is a set of before and after pictures.
We also did a set of family, Mommy & Me, and Daddy & Me photos, just in time for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. I love the navy/pink color coordination.

I hired her to do my daughters first birthday party photos and she captured the moment perfectly.
