After the incredible success of the 2024 Tween Dream program, which featured Taylor Swift Era Tour-inspired couture gowns by Your Fairy Godmother Couture and 5 models selected in the January 2025 Child Couture Magazine publication, Karen is once again bringing magic to New Jersey with a fresh new theme that celebrates empowerment. The 2025 event, themed “The Future is Female,” is now extended to include teens as well, offering both tweens and teens the chance to shine in stunning, Wizard of Oz and Wicked-inspired couture gowns.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Can Someone Outside the 8-19 Age Range Participate? Absolutely! Girls younger than 8 or ladies older than 19 are welcome to participate in the event. However, please note that you will not be eligible for the Child Couture Magazine feature.

2. Can I share this session with multiple participants? Each session is designed for a single participant. If you’d like to include friends or siblings, adjustments to the hair and makeup arrangements will be necessary. You have two options:

• Preferred Option: Opt out of hair and makeup for the additional participants.
• Additional Fee Option: Pay an extra fee for their hair and makeup services. Please note that this option may require a schedule adjustment, as hair and makeup are booked within set timeframes.

Number of digital edits and included folio box configuration will not be changed but you have the option to purchase more digital images and upgrade/change the products.

3. How the Photography Dresses Work:

This event is open to children ages 8 through teens. Our photography dresses are designed to be flexible, featuring corset backs for adjustable fits. Unlike traditional clothing, these dresses don’t need to fit perfectly. Here’s how we make them work:

• Too Tight? We can photograph with the back open if needed.
• Too Loose? Clamps will be used to ensure a proper fit.
• Final Touches: Photoshop techniques will be applied to refine the fit and achieve a polished, flattering look.

These techniques are commonly used in the fashion industry, making virtually any dress work beautifully on anyone.

✨ Ideal Age Range: These dresses are best suited for ages 12-14, but we’ve successfully styled children as young as 6 and teens up to 17. If your child falls outside this range, don’t worry—you can select another dress from my collection that fits them better.

✨ Dress Sizes and Alternative Options:

• Glinda (Size 14/16 Girls): Similar to a women’s small, but with a shorter length and less built-in bust support.
• Elphaba (Women’s Small, up to Size 4): Features a slim, mermaid-style cut. Not recommended for girls with curvier hips. For larger frames, consider the alternative Elphaba option
• Over the Rainbow (Size 14/16 Girls): Sleeves are adjustable and can be worn in different positions on the arm.
• Popular (Size 12 Girls): Ideal for younger or smaller children, with a shorter length compared to the other dresses.
• OZ (Size 14/16 Girls): Similar in cut and style to the Over the Rainbow dress. If needed, there is an alternative beautiful size 8 green dress that fits smaller children perfectly for this theme.
