Summer Rutgers Senior Session at Asbury Park Boardwalk
Meet Phoebe, a friendly, loyal, hardworking Rutgers senior majoring in Public Health. She is graduating at the end of this year.
I invited Phoebe to be my model for this photoshoot because I was impressed by her achievement as a young dancer! Phoebe likes to listen and dance to Korean pop music. She and several friends who share the love for K-pop (a genre of popular music originating in South Korea) formed a dance organization so they could come together and learn dances.
The dance group participated in many competitions. They recently won 1st place at KCON NY this year!
Phoebe picked out the outfits for this photoshoot based on her everyday style. She likes to wear big T-shirts and sneakers. She wore shorts because it was more fitting for the beach/boardwalk setting.
Phoebe was a bit hesitant to posing for pictures in pubic. however, she overcame this fear by thinking no one would really care what she was doing and they would just walk on by like nothing was going on.
Fun fact: I have known Phoebe and her parents for a very long time. When I first met Phoebe, she was probably only 7 or 8 years old and I was in college. Back then she called me “Jeh Je” (Big sister in Cantonese). Now she has become a beautiful young adult and I have become a Mom of 3 kids. Phoebe now calls me “Yi Yi” (a cute way of saying Auntie in Cantonese).
Phoebe’s Daddy is a hairdresser/stylist at Fashion Hair Salon, Edison. Her Mommy is a makeup artist and esthetician. Her Mommy did her makeup and her Daddy did her hair. What a lucky girl!
The dance group that Phoebe is in is called HARU DANCE. They are very socially active. Please follow them @harudance_official.
After graduating, Phoebe plans on applying for the nursing program at Rutgers University. Wish you all the best!

I hired her to do my daughters first birthday party photos and she captured the moment perfectly. I was so pleased with her work I hired her again to do a mother and daughters photo shoot for Mother’s Day. She NAILED IT one of the most beautiful photo shoots I have ever seen.
